The ceasefire between the US and Iran has become an illusion as the two countries have been hitting each other militarily. Whereas the US is claiming that it is responding with attacks to ensure that its ships are secure in the Strait of Hormuz, Iran, on the other hand, has responded by bombing the US airbase as well as the country's territory in Kuwait. Even though efforts have been made for making a peace agreement, the conflict has heightened due to disagreements over taxes and territories at sea.
